The Pitch Pit is the centerpoint of the two-day PitchCon 2013 to be held at the SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills. This is where producers and content creators will have a chance to pitch a series or program idea in guaranteed one-on-one meetings with seasoned development experts. This event is a proven favorite that brings passion, talent and fresh ideas to the forefront.
How does the Pitch Pit sign-up process work?
Registrants receive 2 guaranteed pitches (out of 5 choices) with the basic registration. Those who also purchase The Ultimate Pitch Package receive 2 additional pitches for a total of 4 guaranteed pitches (out of 7 choices).
Online sign-ups for the 2013 Pitch Pit open on April 15. After you register, you will receive an email with the link you need to access online sign-ups. Before you can sign-up online, you must complete the Submission Release Agreement. After you complete this, you will be able to select either your top 5 (five) or top 7 (seven) choices of companies you want to pitch to. Based on your ranked choices, overall schedule and the pitch appointments available, you will be confirmed for either 2 pitches out of your five top choices or 4 pitches out of your seven top choices. Confirmations of your guaranteed pitch appointments will be sent out on May 3.

Pitch Pit Registration Online Pitch Pit sign-up will open on April 15.
Note: We are UNABLE to make changes to your catcher requests once submitted. Additionally, you are not permitted to change your appointment choices once submitted. All appointments with catchers are based on space available at the time of your registration.
Once you sign up for the 2013 Pitch Pit, you will need to submit an electronic release form. You will be sent to an online destination after registration to fill out and submit this form electronically.

Preparing to pitch means you also research the companies you plan to meet with. Beyond your guaranteed pitches, there are opportunities for additional pitches. Consider the list of catchers posted on the PitchCon website and what they are looking for as a resource for selecting your hit list. Familiarize yourself with ALL the companies looking for your type of project so when opportunity knocks, you’re prepared to open the door.
